Babatunde Lateef ADELEKE is a Professor in the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with about 3 decades of university teaching, research and administrative experience.

He has served as Head of Department, Dean of the Faculties of Science & Physical Sciences Director, General Studies Division, Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator, among others. His area of specialization is Design and Analysis of Experiments.

He has conducted several studies in the area of design construction that have produced a number of single and joint authored journal articles that are published in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals and conference proceedings. He has supervised eight (8) Ph.D. Theses and several M.Sc. Dissertation.

Professor Adeleke was a beneficiary of the University of Ilorin Senate Research grant and that of the National Mathematical Centre, Abuja. He was also a resource person for Foundation Postgraduate Course on Statistical Methods at a seminar organized by Mathematical Centre Abuja.
