Razaq Bayo Afolayan is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Physical sciences, University of Ilorin with over ten years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.He has served in various committees at both Faculty and Departmental level. He specializes in statistical modelling and econometrics with a passion for exploring the intricate relationships between variables and uncovering hidden patterns within data.He has participated in several workshops and seminars, sharing his expertise with fellow researchers and fostering collaboration within the statistical community.Dr. Afolayan is a member of several Statistical societies and professional bodies such as: Nigerian Statistical Society (NSA), Professional Statisticians’ Society of Nigeria (PSSN), Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS), International Biometric Society (IBS), Group Nigeria and Science Association of Nigeria (SAN). His research output includes publications in Journals and edited conference proceedings in both Local, National and International reputable journals.
