Mohammed Kabir Garba is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin. He has about 19 years of teaching, research and administrative experience in universities. He has served as the Deputy Director, UNILORIN’s School of Preliminary Studies. He is currently the Sub-Dean of the Student Affairs Unit. His research interests include Time Series & Econometrics, Data Mining, Analysis of Community Health Data, Operations Research, and Statistical Modelling. He has to his credit more than 45 publications covering journal articles, edited conference proceedings and technical reports in reputable outlets nationally and internationally. He has supervised numerous undergraduate projects, 7 master’s dissertations and 3 Ph.D. theses. Dr. Garba is a member of many professional bodies in Nigeria and overseas. He is currently the National Secretary of the Professional Statisticians’ Society of Nigeria (PSSN).
