Ifeyinwa Vivian Omekam is a Lecturer II in the Departmental of Statistics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with four years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.She has served as a Language Resource Person in a Nigerian Institute (National Institute for Cultural Orientation) for about five years. She also has administrative experience both in the University of Ilorin and in a non-profit organization (The Rain Institute, an affiliate of Freedom Foundation) where she served as an Executive Assistant to the Director.She has successfully supervised undergraduate projects and co-supervised Masters dissertations. Impacting Knowledge remains her goal as well as capacity building.Dr. Omekam is a member of Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and Nigerian Statistical Association (NSA). She is purpose-driven with research focus in Statistical Modelling, Distribution Theory, and Statistical Quality Control. Her research is on generalization of distribution and retrospective analysis of some economic variables using Statistical Quality Control techniques.
